Why Study Organization Theory
Organizational behavior is a cornerstone of any agency, even libraries. The paper I chose from LI805 (Organization Theories for Administering Information Agencies) to represent the outcome of applying interdisciplinary theories to information agencies discusses the importance and transparency that organizational behavior serves to libraries. Organizations have too many variables to efficiently track them all, organizational theory gives some framework of analysis to gain perspective into a library organization.
